Squalane Light Conditioner

This is actually my first time writing a review on a conditioner and it’s because I genuinely really enjoyed this one.

I usually only get about 2 washes out of the typical 250ml conditioners, so I really appreciate the size of this one. I’ve already used it for 3 washes and I can probably stretch it to a 4th, which is a big win.

The slip is great, it makes detangling so much easier, especially for my hair type. It leaves my hair feeling soft, nourished and properly moisturized without feeling weighed down. I also tried it after a protein treatment and it worked really well to restore moisture and balance my hair.

For reference, I have extremely coarse, 4C, low porosity hair so I’m quite particular about conditioners that actually penetrate and work.

The only downsides for me are the packaging and the scent. It’s quite thick, which is nice but it can be a bit difficult to get out of the bottle, I definitely think a tub/jar packaging would work much better. The smell is also not my favourite, it leans more towards a cleaning product scent.

Overall, it’s a really solid conditioner that performs well, especially for thick, coily hair, will definitely repurchase.
