I struggled with a damaged skin barrier for a while constant dryness, tightness, and irritation, especially around my cheeks. No matter how much moisturizer I used, my skin felt like it wasn’t absorbing anything properly.

Incorporating squalane oil into my routine made such a big difference. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and layers well with my other products. I started applying a few drops after moisturizer at night, and within a couple of weeks my skin felt noticeably calmer, softer, and more hydrated.

What I love most is that it doesn’t clog my pores (even though I’m acne-prone), and it helps lock in moisture without leaving an oily film. My barrier feels stronger now and my skin no longer flakes as much, redness has reduced, and products absorb better.
